This award is designed to recognize an individual, organization, business entity or government agency for their contributions to the field of education, particularly the support of the principalship.

• Membership in the Illinois Principals Association is NOT required for this award
• Not a paid employee of the IPA at the time of nomination
• Demonstrates positive impact on education and advocacy for children
• Based upon a single deed, long term project or the culmination of a life’s work
• Emphasis on the improvement of elementary, middle and/or secondary education
• Emphasis on advocacy for children

Award:
A plaque and a $750 cash award will be presented at the annual Principals Professional Conference.

Nomination Process:
Nomination/application forms are attached or can be obtained from the IPA State Headquarters in Springfield.

Entry Deadline:
April 30, 2009 – Completed nomination/application forms due to your Region Director.
