Online Workshop Instructions

1. What should you do before you register? You must be able to use the software and website for IPA workshops, Elluminate Live!

• Before you register for the workshop go to the Elluminate Website and complete steps 1-3 testing the software, audio, and microphone at www.elluminate.com/support. (See Technical Requirements for more details, if needed.) Test it now to see if it works!
• Once you have set up your computer to work with Elluminate, go visit a recorded "class" to see if you would enjoy learning in this environment. See a workshop on Leadership Alchemy. Other recorded sessions are available at: http://sas.elluminate.com/site/external/event/playback

2. Register online for workshop at least 7 days before the starting date after confirming you are able to use Ellumiante Live! on your computer. Seating is limited by the software site license so sign up early. Late registrations cannot be accepted due to the preworkshop setup and training needed.

• Contact Beth Broyles, Professional Development Coordinator, if you have any registration questions or do not receive an email (with class attachments) prior to the workshop, beth@ilprincipals.org

3. One week before class,

• IPA will send instructions to you via e-mail. Contact Beth Broyles, Professional Development Coordinator, if you have any registration questions prior to the workshop, beth@ilprincipals.org
• Forward the link to your tech support ASAP so they can help set up one week before the workshop.
• If you have technical questions, contact Stefanie at slmcall@ilstu.edu. If you detect problems, we can help you several days before class but not the day of class.

4. On class day,

• Participants will log on the website 30 minutes before the start time. Presentations will consist of PowerPoint presentations with a live voiceover. Sessions are interactive. You will participate in discussion and ask questions.
• At the end of the session, you will be asked to complete an online evaluation.

• The Elluminate Software is constantly improving and being updated. Before you register for another workshop go to the Elluminate Website again and complete steps 1-3 retesting the software, audio, and microphone at www.elluminate.com/support.
