Social Intelligence: The Swiss Army Knife of Leadership Skills

May 15, 2025, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Participants will identify and analyze the essential constructs of emotional and social intelligence, utilizing key research findings to identify the critical components that apply to leadership competency; evaluate multiple ways to measure their own level of emotional and social intelligence, using findings from those assessments to develop a personal plan for improvement; identify and evaluate the importance of self-management, how it affects the entire organization (mood contagion) and will be able to develop specific strategies that will improve school culture and climate; and assess and analyze how to best manage relationships, utilizing a repertoire of leadership styles.
