Education Leaders Fall Conference
(formerly the Principals Professional Conference)
The Illinois Principals Association’s Education Leaders Fall Conference and Exhibition is a two-and-a-half-day annual event for K-12 building administrators that will be held in Springfield October 16-18, 2016. Why Springfield? Surveys and history confirm that central Illinois cities are a better draw for attendance because they are more affordable and provide convenient access for most Illinois administrators. This Conference has been held in Peoria for the last nine years, but is confirmed in Springfield for the next three years due to its unique offerings. Approximately 700 educational leaders are expected to attend to hear nationally renowned keynote speakers; participate in small group educational sessions on how they can better serve their schools and communities; attend one of the largest educational exhibitions in Illinois; and to connect with other administrators. This Conference is held in the summer to provide the opportunity for schools and districts to bring teams of educators to attend to participate in sessions on how they can work together to better serve and improve their schools and communities.
