Dr. Jason Leahy has served as the Executive Director of the Illinois Principals Association (IPA) since July 1, 2006. The IPA, whose mission is to develop, support, and advocate for innovative educational leaders, servesprincipals, assistant principals, deans, and other school leaders throughout the state of Illinois. Prior to serving as the IPA’s Executive Director, Jason was a high school chemistry and physics teacher and high school principal. Jason earned his Bachelors in Chemistry Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Masters in Educational Leadership from Illinois State University, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University. Jason is married to his wife Ashlee and they have five children: Emma, Luke, Brody, Noah, and Ethan.
