The School Leader Paradigm: Doing

April 30, 2024, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The role of principal has moved from manager of a school to a leader of systems that ensure the success of all students. The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) has mandated that schools identify students' current level of learning and make adjustments to their learning journey to maximize growth. This administrator academy will take a deep dive into the Doing side of the School Leader Paradigm to identify practical and easy to implement strategies and techniques to increase the effectiveness of your leadership. Key puzzle pieces will be shared that you can implement the next day to improve the culture, systems, and learning within your school!

IPA will deliver this ONLINE training through Zoom. To participate in the virtual workshop, you must have Internet access, a web camera, and a microphone.

You will receive the Zoom training link, handouts and detailed instructions in the registration confirmation from netforum@ilprincipals.org. If you don’t see the confirmation in your inbox after registering, please email workshops@ilprincipals.org.
