Evaluator Training

The Illinois State Board of Education has adopted the School Leader Evaluation Plan as the new framework for principal and assistant principal evaluation training (beginning July 1, 2024).

IPA provides ISBE-required Administrator Academies for individuals to renew their teacher and/or principal evaluator designation. Earned evaluator designations appear on an Illinois educator's Professional Educator License (PEL).

This course is particularly helpful for individuals who will be evaluated under the plan. This course, School Leader Evaluation: A Growth-Focused Approach, is particularly helpful for individuals who will be evaluated under the plan.
