Janice Schwarze retired in June 2021 after 34 years in education. She served as an administrator for 14 years in District 99 - the last 5 years as principal of Downers Grove North High School. Janice also taught English for 20 years at Glenbard East High School and served as a department chair and Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction. Since retiring, she has worked at the Illinois Principals Association as a Professional Learning Associate and frequently provides training on the School Leader Paradigm and the principal evaluation framework. Janice is also a leadership mentor and coach and provides professional learning opportunities to districts on differentiated instruction, assessment literacy, and grading practices.
