Joe Fatheree is an award-winning author, educator, and filmmaker. He was recognized as one of the Top 10 Teachers in the World in 2016 by the Varkey Foundation in collaboration with the Global Teacher Prize. Additionally, he was named the Illinois State Teacher of the Year in 2007.

He is internationally recognized as a leader and speaker in fields ranging from the development and implementation of artificial intelligence in schools to education policy, innovation, and teacher leadership. In 2019, he received an invitation to join the Institute for Ethical AI in Education in the United Kingdom where he collaborated with members of Parliament, developers, academics, and educational advocates to establish one of the world’s first model codes of ethics for AI in education. Joe’s expertise led to his appointment as the chair of the AI committee for the Global Independent School Association.
